STUFFED FLEECE BIRD

When your 22mon. old is obsessed with birds, you make him a bird for his birthday. And he's obsessed with trains. Quite the combo. #plush #fleece #sewing #twoyearsold

FAIRY

 

I finished my fairy. It's one of the first big plush pieces I've made in a very long time. Spent a lot of time thinking about the details on this and I think it's what I'm the most happy with.

She stands 13"tall. Total height on base is 20 1/2" tall. Made out of felt and fleece.

 

To create the wings I adhered two pieces of felt together and used a very sharp exacto knife to cut out the design. I then applied a spray starch to it to stiffen it.

Her crown is removable.

She actually is not glued into the stand.  The dowel rod she is attached to sits in a hole in the base.

FAIRY BASE

 

Finished up the base for my fairy. Now to put it all together.
