DING! PIES ARE DONE.

I found these tiny Wilton cake pans on sale at Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago and new I had to make some pies. I'll be adding these to the rest of my daughters felt food she's getting for Christmas. I think these would make cute pin cushions.

CHOCOLATE & SUGAR COOKIES

DING. Cookies are done. Sugar cookies measure 2 1/4" across and the chocolate cookies measure 3" across. For now this is the last of the felt food. Need to get back to Halloween stuff.

ANOTHER BATCH OF TASTEY

Here's my latest batch of stuffed food for my daughter for xmas. We'll be starting the kitchen stove and sink pretty soon. Just ordered a stainless steel 10"x12" steam table pan that will be the sink. Can't wait to get it. That kind of determines the size and placement of everything.

So I pretty much have breakfast, lunch, and dinner covered. I've also got a pile of veggies and a pile of fruit. I think I'm pretty much done. I do plan on making some cookies and make a cookie sheet out of thin ply wood painted silver. I thought the cookies would go great with the little tea set she'll be getting for xmas.

Sandwich with 2 slices of bread, lettuce (2), slice of cheese, 2 tomatoes, and what I'm calling salami or mystery lunch meet. Bread made out of fleece, everything else made from wool felt.

2 apples, 2 pears, 2 oranges, 1 banana, 1 lime, and 1 lemon. All made from fleece except the stems, leaves, and banana peel which are made from wool felt.

Pizza that fits together like a puzzle. Peppers, pepperonis, and mushrooms are wool felt. The rest is made from fleece.

Turkey! Drumsticks are attached with velcro. I've got a wood dowel rod inside the bone of the leg for stability. All made of fleece.

EAT YOUR VEGGIES

I ran out of material to work on my daughters costume so I decided to make some more stuffed food. I can see why some people love just making felt food. It's kind of addicting. I keep thinking of other foods to make. I have been making two of everything. Till I did the corn. It took way to long and I got way to carried away. It turned out great but I don't have the energy to make another. This batch of food includes 2 tomatoes, 2 carrots, 2 eggplant, 2 potatoes, and one lonely corn.

HEARTY BREAKFAST

I'd need a nap after a breakfast like that.

For now I'm done working on any plush until after Halloween. I've worked it into my schedule to do no plush for the nest two months. After that I have 2 commission pieces I have to start. I like to gear up for Halloween and I also thought I'd get some Xmas stuff out of the way.
My daughter is getting a play kitchen for xmas, my husband and I plan on building this. So of course she's going to need all the stuff that goes with it. I've noticed that there is not a whole lot of breakfasty foods out there in the play food world, so I decided to make some out of fleece. They're not fancy, just your typical breakfast items. I so wanted to put faces on them but refrained.

I also made her an apron and matching towel and hot pads out of a Martha Stewart hand towel and some scrap Alexander Henry material that I've holding onto forever.
