SMOKIN' DEER MAKES NEWSPAPER

How exciting!! My stuff has never made it into print before. It made it into the Indianapolis Star paper today and on line at www.indy.com. I think it's kinda cool! Also
if you check out www.boxwonder.com later this week some of the work from the show is for sale and can be purchased. The only piece I have for sale is the birdy head.

A LITTLE SOMTHIN' FOR ME

Right now I'm working on some non-plushy stuff. I need a break once in a while and it helps me to work on something else and clear my mind. I've been thinking about the next few plushies I want to do. I'm thinking fairytale but not obvious fairytales. It's still all in my head right now. So while my brain is soaking that in I'm working on some other stuff. I thought I'd make myself a small tote for the spring out of some left over fabric I had from reupholstering a chair.

THE NEEDLE . ORG

A new blog launched this month called theneedle.org. What's that you ask? TheNeedle.org is a collaborative blog for plush artists. It's a great blog where plush artists can share their, work, their process, their creative finds... anything plushy related. I think this a great way for people who create plush to share with each other what they are doing. You should check them out!

I finally finished my bird. With the holidays and not feeling good I barely got it done. But I can relax now. The deer, squirrel and bird will get shipped off this week to the Plushed::art gone soft:: show in Indiana.
