
I finished the owl I was working on and have decided to make two more. This time around I'm taking pictures as I go so I can post my process.
I did manage to use some of the wood from the birch tree I had to cut down. Like most all of my pieces there is a dowel rod that runs through his body, through the piece of birch and into a stand.
The owl itself measures 8"x10".

I Photoshoped out the dowel rod in this pic. I think this would make a cute business card.

Art Unleashed 2010. This is a benefit I've been contributing to for 5 years now. Money raised goes to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
